Dr. Andrew Savard graduated from Assumption College with his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a concentration in Biotechnology and Cellular and Molecular Biology. Dr. Savard went on to receive his Optometric degree from New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts in May, 2020. Dr. Savard completed rotations at Eyesight Ophthalmic Services in Somersworth, New Hampshire; Manchester Veterans Affairs Hospital in Manchester, New Hampshire; Charles River Community Health Center in Boston, Massachusetts; and Merrimack Vision Care in Milford, New Hampshire. Dr. Savard is currently a member of the American Optometric Association and the New Hampshire Optometric Association. Dr. Savard enjoys working with patients of all ages. His special interests include the management of glaucoma, retinal vascular disease, dry eye and specialty contact lenses. During his training at Eyesight Ophthalmic Services he received specialized training in dry eye therapy. Originally from Southern New Hampshire, Dr. Savard joined Laconia Eye Associates in September 2020 and he now resides in the Lakes Region.  In his free time, he can be found playing hockey, watching the Bruins, and spending time with his family on Lake Winnipesaukee.
